Extra credit for my clothed 2. Pen and ink. It's like a perfect definition of this long semester... painful, but worthy.

Editorial illustration
Editorial of Asian education.
I picked this subject cause after done with my last illustration, I just wanted to do something I can actually relate to....something I know.
The pro side would be- being a super kid that makes his parents and teacher proud.
The con side, which I chose to be my final, is the exaggerated version of how I felt when I was in high school. I did the color study with color pencil, and they had totally different touch. However, I ended up using gouache and ink for the final.

The Lovely Bones illustration
I watched my beautiful sister running, her lungs and legs pumping, and the skill from the poolstill there- fighting to see through the rain, fighting to keep her legs lifting at the pace set by Samuel, and I knew she was not running away from me or toward me. Like someone who has survived a gut-shot, the wound had been closing, closing- braiding into a scar for eight long years.

Person Passion
My MPT boyfriend working on his script. This is actually my favorite pen and ink piece through all semester. I got to play around with his characters in his story, and also staged things that meant something to him in the picture; including the movie posters he likes, skull ashtray, his cat, and a bong.
