New Website!
Didn't realize till a few days ago that Apple had ended the service of mobile me. So my old website was down for about a week already. What a bummer! :( Good thing is now I'm forced to update my website and recognized stuff. After 2 days of working, the new site is now up and running!

work in progress
It's been quite a while since I did a landscape. This one is personal, and I finally had time in between projects to really sit down and planned it through. It's like rediscovering something familiar with a new perspective. I started with watercolor and switched to charcoal, acrylic and pastel. Just to try out how they work together. Maybe I'll even play with some gouache and ink later. So far I'm having a lot of fun :)
Finished!:)

Latest story on FarFaria is released :)
My second story The Great Battle of the Kiddie Pool
is out on FarFaria this weekend.
This is a very fun project. It's about two kids playing in the kiddie pool and let their imagination take them to a great adventure on the sea.
Read more about the story on FarFaria's blog

A little series
Can't believe this is my first post this year! I guess life had been very busy lately that I finally get to sit down and do some update.
Moving down to LA 2 month ago was a big decision, and I've been doing some job hunt since then. Did a project for Intuary Inc. which is a children's book app on iPad called FarFaria (will update that once the story get published) and finally signed a contract with a children's book agency.
I'm also planing on doing something for myself, a series of illustration from the old classic fairy tale. Hopefully that will keep me occupied while doing freelancing .
Here's a sneak peek of the working project :)

JoJo's Cover
After a dramatic break down of my laptop, I thought I was going to lose the file to this cover. Thanks to the computer people in Taiwan. Took them about 2 weeks to run the system and read the files. And finally today I received the hard drive!
Will be working on the final pages at last. Cheers!

Back from my weddings
What a year! I'm finally back from my weddings from CA to IL, FL, and to our last stop, Taiwan. Hopefully soon I'll be relocated and have a bigger working space. Life is at the turning page now :)
A touch of my design at our wedding at Disney FL
Since I'm a big fan of Disney, getting married at Disney World was just a dream came true.
It's hard not to put extra Disney in little things through out the whole celebration, and an illustrator gotta do what an illustrator does :) Working hard like always!
I'm really thankful for every single person that made the day possible. Big thanks to Kim Zgonena's Kustom Kreations for adjusting and printing out all my designs.
Chicago Wedding Planner Big City Bride. My awesome mother-in-law, Susan. Our photographer Robin Sloan from Riverbend Studio, and my dearest family and friends that witnessed our big day.
Wedding invitation and the bridal bouquet
Guest's gift bags and custom printed stuff in the bags featuring our wedding logo.
Wedding ceremony program
I also did the dinner menu and placing cards for the reception. The guests would match their name cards with the table cards featuring my favorite Disney couples. Menu and station cards
would just have to be Remy from Ratatouille :)

It's made with super sculpey, baked for about 30 mins, colored with acrylic paint, finished with acrylic glazing medium.
